Five Cattle Shot In Tucson: Reward

(Phoenix, AZ) – The Arizona Department of Agriculture is investigating the shooting of five cattle that took place at Redington Pass in Tucson on January 24th or 25th. The shooting left three bulls dead, one mortally wounded, and one in fair condition.
The bull in fair condition is expected to fully recover, but the mortally wounded bull was eventually put down due to severe injuries.
The cattle’s owner discovered and reported the crime to the Pima County Sheriff’s office on the afternoon of January 25th. The Arizona Department of Agriculture is partnering with the Pima County Sheriff’s office to investigate the crime.

In addition to the Pima County Sheriff’s office reward of one-thousand dollars, the cattle’s owner is also offering a five-thousand dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator(s).
Killing another person’s livestock is a class five felony and punishable with significant fines, dependent on the worth of the animal, as well as jail time.
